Orientation and Consciousness

Orientation and consciousness are intimately related and they interact upon each other intricately.
Orientation, at any particular moment in the life of an individual, is the sum total of experiences, ideas, beliefs, disposition to a particular form of action in the given circumstances, stimuli, response to the stimuli, feelings, bringing up in a socio-cultural environment, knowledge or lack of knowledge, understanding or the deficiency thereof, and so forth.
Orientation is not stagnant; it changes or develops with the changes and developments of the factors that comprise it.
Consciousness is the sum total of mental processes, which actively participate in any human being’s understanding of the objective world and his/her personal being. A human being is born into the world of an environment, objects, phenomena, ideas, beliefs and understanding created by the previous generations. He/she acquires his/her consciousness in the process of learning how to use them to a definite or indefinite purpose.
Consciousness too is dynamic. The dynamics of its composing factors determines the motion of consciousness itself.
