Peace Projects’ Concept Paper

Introduction

Just as each person among hundreds of millions of people can happily part with tens or hundreds of thousands of his or her respective currency units and bestow those to the swindlers in the share-market gamblers’ houses, but wriggle out from or avoid paying the collective bill for having lunch or snacks with his or her two or three or more friends at any restaurant;

Similarly, the rulers (and ambassadors) of Ukraine and Russia, Taiwan and China, India and Pakistan, India and China, Israel and Palestine, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Kosovo and Serbia,…,

will rather collectively spend trillions of Euros for wars and weapons in order to massacre one another’s young boys in the armies, devastate one another’s countries, and force mothers and fathers in their countries to pick up rotting corpses of their dead sons in the battlefields than support any project for peace inside and between these or other regions and countries of the world.

They (rulers and ambassadors) have their mindsets, i.e. the fruits of their bringing up and cultures, as such; and we can do nothing to help them or their respective situations.

In contrast to the above category of people and their general supporters, there is a Great Class of Professors, Educators, Lecturers, Scholars, Genuine Intellectuals, Medical Professionals, and Writers that are Global in Orientation or Culture or Life-pursuits or Work, and who usually do not want to be killed for nothing, who do not wish to have to pick up their dead sons’ charred bodies from the battlefields, who love to live and have their children and grandchildren live through their full lifespans.

Aren’t there millions of Professors, Lecturers, Educators and Scholars that would love to Teach Student of all Mutually Belligerent Areas or Territories from this and that side of the border, without any biases, and discrimination? Aren’t there Genuine Intellectuals that love to be known, appraised and appreciated universally for their work, by the concerned people of cultures and nationalities, governed by Any Two Mutually Warring Parties? Aren’t there Medical Professional serving for and advocating Global Good Health, without any bias against this or that particular community? And are the Authors no more present in the world that would adore to have their works translated into various languages, and benefitted from by people globally, regardless of any border or warring-mechanism blocking their approach?

It is verily these advocates of life and real humanistic and broadminded Supporters of Local and Global Cultural Development, it is verily such Professors, Educators, Scholars, Genuine Intellectuals, Writers and Medical Professionals of Kashmir, Taiwan, Palestine, Israel, India, Pakistan, China, Ukraine, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Serbia,…, who we want to bring together to shed light on the educational, health-related, economic, social, political, and cultural problems of various classes in their regions and countries, and the possible solutions thereof, particularly the conflicts that are or that can be the harbingers of violence or wars or even the world war.

The Project Objectives

Inviting twenty-four Professors/Scholars/Intellectuals/Authors… for ten-day program in every fortnight. Twelve intellectuals from this side of the border and twelve from that side. Each participant will have to speak two or more times in the conference. Every speaker will have to face questions from the other participants.

The Project Infrastructure

A building with a conference hall, two dinning halls (one each for each countries’ participants), twenty-four rooms (with attached bathrooms) for twenty-four participants, boarding and lodging facilities for the participants, laundry, kitchen, storeroom, administrative rooms, gymnasium, etc.

Two vehicles for receiving the participants from the airport/bus-station, taking them for sightseeing for a few days during the fortnight of their stay in Nepal, and seeing them off at the airport/bus-station at the end of the period.

Duration of the Project

Ongoing. Two conferences a month; twenty to twenty-two conferences every year.
